A business meeting
This morning, we had a meeting with Auralog, a french company. They provide e-learning solution for language learners. One of the guests was a Frenchman. I had an intention to speak French with him because I used to learn some French in Unversity. However, I didn’t have that chance. Another reason is that I could only remember some simplist French sentences. After graduation, I forgot most of what I learned in university because of lacking exercise and language environment. French is a beautiful language. I hope I can regain the ability of speaking French one day.

you can always try with bonjour, mercie, au revoir, or tres bien
right, i love the sound of “tres bien” because it corrosponse with the chinese 特bien,if you pronounce 特(te 4) with a beijing urban accent in the 80s and early 90s, it’s Tei1,
so te4 = tei1 = tres
haha

after that, some small talk, see where the conversation is going. if you can keep the conversation goin’ in french, switch back to english, or anglais, shall i say?
or you can ask for sample course you can use the learn french so you have the first hand experience as a learner of if their product/service is really what they talked about.
